The Cleveland Film Collective is a nonprofit 501c3 organization that strives to support and promote the Cleveland area independent film community. We do this by providing support, resources, consulting, education, and programming, all at an affordable cost to local artists.
CFC manages the calendar of greater Cleveland independent film events and a searchable database of local talent. In addition, we produce Cleveland Horror Fest, a horror film festival and screenwriting competition featuring independent short and feature films from all around the world, as well as networking events, workshops, parties, and more.
CFC has a very small staff and board, and relies greatly on a team of volunteers. Funding comes from program revenues and consulting fees, grants, and private donations.
It is our long term goal to open and run the Cleveland Film Center, a collaborative co-working space designed for our local film community, including a large common area open to everyone, an on site coffee shop and restaurant, meeting rooms for film groups and organizations, casting calls, and production meetings, editing bays, ADR studios, film production equipment, a couple of greenscreen studios, a small screening room, and individual offices available for rental.
