Guest speaker: Mikhail Tot “I’m an Immigrant Filmmaker”
Mikhail Tot is a writer, editor and director from Russia. He came to this county with he was 15 years old. He had passion for film since the young age. He won best filmmaker of 2017 by OEA (Ohio Entertainment Awards) and his team Render Gang won 48 hour horror project in 2018. (With other numerous awards). Mikhail will be talking about mistakes and problems some people face while making an independent project. An honest truth about his experience in film industry.

Remember to bring either a laptop with hdmi out, playable DVD or Bluray or a FAT32 usb drive – if using USB Drive make sure the file is an Apple encoded mp4 max 1080 (not high bitrate). NOTE: 720 seems to work better. Bluray seems to be the safest.

Showing locally made short films, teaser trailer, music video, etc. Filmmaker must be present.
